The Big Bang
For many years scientists have labored with their
telescopes and mathematical formulae trying to develop a plausible theory to explain the
Big Bang. This is, of course, the premise that the universe came into being
spontaneously at a single moment in time (or before "time") from a minuscule
speck of light/energy that just happened to be there. This speck, which they
claim was smaller than an atom, had not only a nearly infinite mass but also generated the
necessary energy to expand outward towards infinity - forming the universe as it
expanded. The world's greatest astronomers and mathematicians have labored mightily
to explain how it all came to be. I can save them all a lot of time, and allow them
to apply their considerable talents to more useful tasks.
God did it! In a split second He - for His own reasons - created all that is, or
ever was, or ever will be. Of course there was a Big Bang, although only He was
around to witness it.
Read with me these words from His Word as revealed in KJV Genesis Chapter I,
Verses 1 through 3
"In the beginning God created the heaven
and the earth.
And the earth was without form, and void; and
darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the spirit of God moved upon the face of the
waters.
And God said, Let there be light: and there was
light."
That's it! These words tell it all!
If you were to continue reading this first chapter of Genesis, the entire history of
creation unfolds before you. But these three verses alone supply all of the answers
to the "big question" regarding that first instant millennia ago. He did it! End
of discussion; end of debate; end of hypothesis-searching; end of wasted resources. So
let's tell it like it is, and get on with something productive. I won't argue
the timeline with you, since only He knows when and how.

Why not take a moment to visit Big Bang Books? You'll find a great selection of new books about Big Bang
subjects. Some authors support the theory - some reject it. I believe that I already know
the answer. You'll have to decide for yourself.
