W.E.B. Griffin is one of the great military fiction writers of our time. His works - including The Shooters, Death and Honor, The Hostage, Retreat, Hell, By Order of the President, Under Fire, Special Ops, The Lieutenants, The Captains, The Berets and the rest of the Brotherhood of War series and The Corps series - have the technical authenticity, military detail, and depth of character necessary to present action novels that may only be described as "Great reading!" I have read most of his books, and can recommend his work as first-rate fiction that you'll hate to put down. As with any author some books are better than others but all are interesting enough to make a good read, and some are awesome.
